We are looking for a Team Support Officer to work closely with the Service Manager for Risk, Performance & Procurement, providing day-to-day general administrative support to the team. This is an extremely varied role, supporting the Council’s arrangements for corporate health & safety, emergency planning, business continuity, risk, performance and procurement.
You will be highly organised, enthusiastic, have a good eye for detail and be able to act on your own initiative. You will be able to prioritise a busy workload across a range of subject areas; adapting quickly to situations as they arise. The role involves liaison both within the Council and externally with key partners, so great interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
You will be supported to attend training where required, to bring you up to speed with some of the legal frameworks we work within to deliver the work of the team – such as health & safety and procurement.
This is a full time role but we would be open to discussions with part time or job share applicants and we can be flexible with those that have childcare commitments. The role will require regular attendance at the Council Offices in Farnborough but hybrid working is also supported where it meets the needs of the Council.
