Canam Group in Brasov began as a small detailing office in 1998 which afterwards became a major company on the Brasov market with its own building and more than 360 employees.
Our team in Brasov provides 3D modelling, detailing and estimation services for constructions such as buildings, steel structures and bridges. We work for our plants and offices in Canada and the Unites States and for other North American steel fabricators.
We also have our own IT team developing software for internal use.
The Human Resources Specialist is a human resources professional responsible for providing support in the various human resources functions: staffing, recruiting, onboarding, performance monitoring and employee counseling.
Your role in our team:
- In charge of personnel administration
- Actively participates in recruiting processes
- Contributes to employer branding events: student fairs, job fairs and others
- Provide counseling and support on internal policies and procedures
- Prepare the documents for the employee's records according to policy and legal requirements
- Issue documents requested by employees, internal management, or authorities
- Assist in performance management and employee evaluation
- Maintain employee records and paperwork
- Monitor and apply legal changes related to payroll and employee benefits
- Ensure appropriate data protection according to GDPR policy
- Advise and support employees on various employment topics
- Contribute to all HR processes and activities
- Relevant experience in personnel administration and recruiting
- Knowledge of various HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, evaluation and training, pay and benefits
- Good understanding of labor laws
- Proficient in MS Office or Google Workspace and other specific tools
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solver
- Good decision-making skills
- Strong ethical standards
- Relevant studies (human resources, economics)
- Additional HR certification would be a plus
- Good knowledge of English
The collaboration will be for a determined period of two years.
