State Coordinator [Nigeria]

 

Job Overview:

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated State Coordinators to lead and oversee the implementation of our Ummatore Youth Empowerment Scheme (UYES) in each of the 20 states in Northern Nigeria. As a State Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our empowerment program and making a positive impact on the lives of youth and women in your state.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all activities related to the Ummatore Youth Empowerment Scheme in the assigned state.
• Recruit, train, and supervise LGA Coordinators and other team members within the state.
• Collaborate with the Project Management Team to ensure effective program planning and execution.
• Coordinate and liaise with partnering organizations or companies for program implementation.
• Monitor and evaluate program performance, providing regular progress reports to the central management team.
• Conduct outreach and engage with stakeholders to promote the empowerment scheme and encourage participation.
• Collaborate with all relavant teams for the success of the empowerment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Post-Secondary School certification.
• Proven experience in project management, leadership, or community development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge and understanding of digital skills training and empowerment programs is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about youth and women empowerment, with a commitment to making a difference.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 weeks
Part-time hours: 15 per week

Salary: From ₦30,000.00 per month

Education:

• Post-secondary (technical & vocational) (Preferred)

Experience:

• Coordinating: 1 year (Preferred)
• Leadership: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• English (Preferred)
• Any Local language (Preferred)
